About Us

I always had a love for fashion, my mother had a gift of pattern making, designing, and sewing. When I was about 10 years old, my mother would ask if I cook dinner for my dad and brothers, she would make me a new outfit for school tomorrow. I would do the cooking just to get a new outfit. Being an artist came naturally to me, especially, drawing and painting. At a young age, I started designing my own clothes and my mother would make them.

For 38 years, I worked in the Fashion Industry as an Assistant Designer and Production Pattern Maker. Due to nerve damage in my neck and upper spine, I left my full-time employment at my last company, Surf & Turf in Los Angeles, CA. My love for design was always there. I continued to design and make patterns for wedding dresses, bridesmaids’ dresses, prom dresses, and special occasion outfits for men and women. I love designing that one-of-a-kind dress.

The Stately Scarves came to pass by me making one for my daughter’s prom to cover her back and arms for the cool evening breeze. I used that same design to be worn in more than one way that is stately, having a dignified and grand manner.
